League sign-ups happen a few weeks before each season through a club or a local USTA captain. Camps and junior academies usually require a short evaluation first; ask about scholarship or sliding-scale spots, which many non-profit tennis associations offer.

I cannot recommend their swim program, ran by Katie, enough to fellow parents. Both of my daughters look forward to their lessons each week. Jessica is just amazing with kids and the rest of the swim staff also show the care and patience little ones need to feel at ease as they learn to swim.

The Hartley Drive Family YMCA has been an absolute game changer for my family! From the moment you walk in, it's clear that the staff genuinely care about creating a welcoming, supportive environment for everyone. A large highlight is the daycare program available while parents use the facility. Knowing my child is safe, happy, and engaged with caring staff allows me to focus on my workout completely stress-free. It's such an incredible service that makes prioritizing fitness so much easier for parents. The yoga classes are simply outstanding. The instructors are knowledgeable, encouraging, and create an atmosphere that's perfect whether you're a beginner or have years of experience. The pool deserves special recognition as well. It's impeccably maintained; always clean and comfortable. Whether you're looking to get in a serious lap-swimming workout or enjoy one of the excellent water aerobics classes, the pool is absolutely top-notch. Overall, the Hartley Drive Family YMCA offers so much more than just a gym. It provides exceptional programs, outstanding facilities, and a true sense of community. I couldn't recommend it more highly to anyone looking for a place where the whole

My daughter is involved in the youth soccer. I’ve been a member at this Y since March 2025. This year we signed my 6 year old up for soccer. Being a member I was still charged full price, even though there is a member discount, come to find out you only get a member discount if your 6 year old is a member as well. The second week of the practices our coach didn’t show up, no call from the Y to let us know, no email, nothing. During last weeks practice a staff member came up and took my daughters ball while she was running down the field (because a nothing family said their balk looked like hers), no question of who’s ball it was, no actual digging into it, just coming up and taking a ball from the kid. We had to argue with the staff member for 3 minutes until he finally gave the ball back after I cussed at him. When they came back the only issue they had was that I cussed, nothing to do with their staff member. This program is a joke. Elijah smith is a joke Daniel Clowers (HR) is a joke.

The Y is nice enough and so are the staff in the limited capacity I have dealt with anyone. My issue is with the lack of privacy in both men’s showers. This isn’t the 50s or jail. Can they add some stalls for the men who would like some privacy. Definitely not safe for children to shower.

This place has been home since afterschool care in elementary school. Camp Pioneer was pivotal in shaping who I became, and now at 40 it’s become a space for rebuilding and grounding again. Few places carry that kind of continuity, care, and meaning across a lifetime.
